2025 Engineering Excellence Awards - People's Choice Voting
Each year, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC/MN) organizes the Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition, which celebrates engineering achievements in new infrastructure projects and research. Consulting Engineering Firms from around the state submit projects and research studies and a distinguished panel of judges evaluates projects on five categories:
- Uniqueness and Innovation
- Future Value to the Engineering Profession and Impact on Public Awareness and Enthusiasm for Engineering
- Social, Economic and Sustainability Impact
- Project Complexity
- Successful fulfillment of Client Vision & Needs
In addition to awards based on our judging panel scores, we also hold a vote for the People's Choice Award. We had an amazing response last year for our first open public vote for this award, with over 1300 votes for projects! And in 2025, we are once again inviting everyone to participate in this celebration of the Minnesota Consulting Engineering Industry, so take a look at our projects below and vote for your favorite.
Some of the entries below may be familiar new parts of your neighborhood - a park to visit, a road or highway that helps your reach your destination with greater efficiency and safety, upgrades and additions to key community amenities. One may inspire you to get out for a daytrip or weekend to see a new corner of our great state of Minnesota. Another may be a new workplace or business serving your community. Others may study long-term solutions that can positively impact a wide range of future projects. And all of these projects demonstrate the excellence that consulting engineering firms practice as they meet the needs of businesses, government and citizens.
