Leadership programs for every career stage
ACEC Minnesota offers two leadership programs for the 2026-27 cycle. The Leadership Development Series serves mid-career professionals ready to lead at a higher level. The Emerging Leaders Fall Series serves early-career professionals stepping into their first leadership roles. Both are open to technical and non-technical staff across all disciplines.
Mid-career · September 2026 through April 2027
Leadership Development Series
Who it's for. Professionals already leading through projects, people, or initiatives who are ready to take on expanded roles with greater confidence and impact. Open to all disciplines and backgrounds within consulting engineering firms.
Format. Seven in-person sessions plus one virtual follow-up, led by nationally recognized practitioners and subject matter experts.
Tuition. $4,500 members | $7,500 non-members
Enrollment. Limited to 24 participants, and admission is competitive. Each applicant must have a sponsor from their firm who supports their full participation in the program. The applicant names their sponsor on the application, and the sponsor then receives a separate form to confirm their commitment.

Emerging Leaders Fall Series
Who it's for. Professionals in or approaching their first leadership role, with under six years of experience. Technical and non-technical professionals are equally welcome.
Format. Four full-day, in-person sessions led by industry practitioners and subject matter experts. Interactive, applied, and built for mixed experience levels.
Tuition. $2,500 members | $4,000 non-members
