Professional Development

ACEC/MN offers two leadership programs for the 2026-27 cycle. The Leadership Development Series serves mid-career professionals ready to lead at a higher level. The Emerging Leaders Series serves early-career professionals stepping into their first leadership roles. Both are open to technical and non-technical staff across all disciplines. Each cohort is limited to 24 participants. One application covers both programs and asks which one you are applying for.

Leadership Development Series

Mid-career professionals. Program runs September 2026 through April 2027.

Who it's for. Professionals already leading through projects, people, or initiatives who are ready to take on expanded roles with greater confidence and impact. Open to all disciplines and backgrounds within engineering firms.

Format. Seven in-person sessions plus one virtual follow-up, led by nationally recognized practitioners and subject matter experts.

Tuition. $4,500 members.

Emerging Leaders Series

Early-career professionals. Program runs October through November 2026.

Who it's for. Professionals in or approaching their first leadership role, with under six years of experience. Technical and non-technical professionals are equally welcome.

Format. Four full-day, in-person sessions led by industry practitioners and subject matter experts. Interactive, applied, and built for mixed experience levels.

Tuition. $2,500 members.
