ACEC Minnesota affiliate membership puts your company in front of the decision-makers at the firms that design and deliver Minnesota’s infrastructure. You reach them through North Star Engineer magazine, our website, year-round events, and direct work with member firms.
Three tiers are available - Supporter, Partner, and Champion. Each tier includes everything in the tier below it. Pick the tier that matches how visible you want to be, then apply. You select your tier on the application form, so note your choice before you open it.
Who Qualifies
Affiliate membership is for organizations that serve Minnesota’s consulting engineering industry without practicing consulting engineering. That includes suppliers, subconsultants, technology providers, and professional service firms in law, accounting, insurance, staffing, and finance.
Firms that practice consulting engineering should apply for member firm membership instead. Go back to Join ACEC Minnesota for that application.

Our magazine for Minnesota’s consulting engineering industry. It reaches thousands of readers across member firms, plus public agency staff and legislators. Published six times per year.
The (Almost) Daily Brief
Our newsletter covering policy, procurement, and industry news, distributed (almost) daily to subscribers at member firms and agency partners.
The affiliate directory
A searchable listing on acecmn.org that member firms use to find suppliers and service providers. Your profile carries your logo, description, contact details, and website link.
Committees and forums
Working groups where member firm leaders set direction on transportation, water, environment, and business practice. Affiliates participate as contributors and do not vote.
An affiliate-delivered education session
You present a technical or business topic to member firm staff. ACEC Minnesota books the date, promotes the session, and handles registration. You supply the content.
Wells Fargo Place meeting space
Our conference room at 30 East Seventh Street in downtown Saint Paul, available for your own meetings by reservation and subject to availability.

Decide on your tier before you open the form. The application asks you to choose, and this page does not carry your selection over.

Complete the application
You provide company details, a primary contact, and your tier selection. ACEC Minnesota staff reviews every application and confirms your tier.

Pay and activate
Pay directly or we can send an invoice. Your membership and benefits activate once payment clears, and we send your portal credentials.

What Affiliate Membership Does Not Include
Affiliate membership does not confer ACEC Minnesota member firm status or voting rights. Affiliate members may not represent themselves as ACEC Minnesota member firms in marketing, proposals, qualifications packages, or anywhere else.
The affiliate directory and member directory support professional reference. Neither one is available for bulk solicitation.

When does the membership year start?
Affiliate membership begins the day your payment clears.
How do we redeem ad space and posts?
Benefits are tracked in our member portal, which you have access to when your membership starts.
What happens to unused benefits?
Unused benefits expire at the end of the membership year.
Does this make us an ACEC member firm?
No. Affiliate membership is a separate category for organizations that serve the consulting engineering industry. It carries no member firm status at the state or national level and no voting rights.
How many people from our company participate?
Every employee in your company is eligible to participate in ACEC Minnesota once you become an affiliate member and remain in good standing.
