This award is presented to the ACEC Minnesota member firm that, through its activities, has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the association and the consulting engineering profession.

Rani Engineering has been one of the most engaged firms in ACEC Minnesota across the past year. The firm puts its people in front of the work. Three Rani professionals were recognized at this year’s Annual Meeting, and President Steven Carleton becomes the board as Treasurer.

Founded in 1993 as one of Minnesota’s first woman- and minority-owned engineering firms, Rani has built a respected transportation, water resources, survey, and rail practice serving clients across the state. The firm supports council programming at a level that exceeds what its size would predict, and the council is stronger for it. This is Rani’s second Firm of the Year recognition.
