CASE/MN Seminar-Tradeshow BIM & IPD
This seminar will cover topics on the latest advances in business practices for BIM (Building Information Modeling) and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery). Mortenson Construction will provide an overview of their current practices that includes use of BIM for estimating, clash detection, and scheduling. Wayne Low, Principal for Degenkolb Engineers in San Francisco, CA will discuss the use of the IPD process in projects their firm has completed for Sutter Health. Patrick O’Connor, a local attorney from Faegre & Benson, LLP will speak about the legal aspects of IPD and the latest AIA and ConsensusDOCS contract forms. Patrick served as counsel to the AIA Documents Committee Task Group responsible for drafting the C195 family of standard forms for Integrated Project Delivery. The seminar will provide 3.5 PDH credits. Certificates will be distributed at the end of the seminar.
