The demands of today's market often border on the unethical: Unlicensed parties trying to cut corners, hungry professionals feeling pressed to bend the rules to land a job, etc. This course will bolster engineers' understanding of their rights, as well as their obligations, under the MN Rules on professionalism and ethics that apply to every design professional. It will also help attendees understand the link between an ethical professional practice and the protection of the public, and give attendees tools for evaluating and handling ethical dilemmas on their projects and in their practices/firms.

Learner Outcomes:
§	MN Rules of Professionalism and Ethics
§	How Rules on professionalism and ethical practice protect the public, health, safety, welfare
§	How to identify ethical dilemmas in practice - both in the office and in the field
§	How to empower your practice - doing the right thing; using the Licensure Board's Complaint Process as a method for protecting the practice of engineering
