All ACEC/MN in-person programming has been suspended in accordance with State guidelines.

April 10th COVID-19 update

Attention: ACEC/MN Members and Non-Members

On April 9, the Board of Directors of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC/MN) passed a motion to extend the suspension of all in-person activities through the end of May 2020, and pursuant to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s Order, “follow the guidelines set forth and maintained by the Minnesota Department of Health (“MDH Guidelines”), including but not limited to social distancing, to the maximum extent possible.” During this suspension, ACEC/MN will continue to offer regular meetings and events via video and teleconferencing.

Previously on March 12, the Board of Directors took action by suspending in-person activities for 30 days to protect ACEC/MN members and program participants from risks posed by COVID-19.

Since the suspension, ACEC/MN staff and leadership have been informing members of the federal & state response to COVID-19, transitioning in-person programing and committee meetings to remote participation via new online platforms, and proactively advocating for engineering services to be classified as essential services. This successful advocacy has allowed our members to continue to work during the Governor’s Stay at Home order.

ACEC/MN recognizes that these are challenging times for members and their employees. Please know ACEC/MN is committed to your success and always available as a trusted resource.

Do not hesitate to reach out to ACEC/MN if you need assistance, access to resources, or have questions about our response to COVID-19.

Best wishes and stay safe.

March 13th COVID-19 update

Attention: ACEC/MN Members and Non-Members

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota, through its Board of Directors, has made the decision to suspend all in-person meetings and events for 30 days. The Board met Thursday, March 12 and the 30-day programming suspension will last until April 11. Potential continuation of the suspension will be evaluated at the next Board meeting in early April.

During this time period we will be monitoring the state and federal response to the crisis and will keep you informed of changes that impact ACEC/MN services. Staff is working diligently to reschedule events and implement technology that will allow for online meetings and events to be held during the suspension.

Please monitor your e-mail and ACEC/MN’s social media accounts for updates.

Best regards.

Sirish Samba, ACEC/MN,  President

Jonathan Curry, ACEC/MN, Executive Director
