ACEC/MN Mechanical/Electrical Group

The ACEC/MN Mechanical/Electrical Group was established in 1997 to deal with problems facing members in this area of practice. The group is working to identify issues that clients have with the industry and work toward establishing relationships with those clients in an effort to better respond to their needs.

The M/E Group has conducted a survey of clients to identify those issues of concern. Also available are two documents developed the ACEC/MN - AIA MN Liaison Committee (the predecessor to the M/E Practice Group): the results of a survey of engineers and architects identifying issues between the professions and a guideline for working relationships between engineers and architects. All of these documents are available for download here as Adobe Acrobat files.
